WYEAST STRAIN: 3333-PC | German Wheat™
A highly flocculent German wheat beer strain that is the perfect choice for use in Kristallweizen. This yeast strain produces a beautiful and delicate balance of banana esters and clove phenolics similar to the popular Wyeast 3068. However, this strain will sediment rapidly, resulting in bright beer without filtration. The balance can be manipulated towards ester production through increasing fermentation temperature, increasing the wort density, and decreasing the pitch rate. Over pitching can result in a near complete loss of banana character. Sulfur is commonly produced, but will dissipate with conditioning.

Liquid Yeast Shipping Policy
It's hot down south, so all liquid yeast orders are shipped with an insulated pouch and two free ice packs. Liquid yeast is shipped to minimize transit time. If you order liquid yeast late in the week with a shipping method that would span the weekend we will hold your order to ship Monday. We recommend a 1 or 2 day shipping time on all liquid yeast orders. USPS Priority Mail is 2 day shipping to most of the Continental US. Liquid yeast is guaranteed viable if it spends no more than 2 days in shipping.
Liquid Yeast Warranty
As long as Liquid Yeast spends a maximum of two days in transit it is guaranteed viable and warrantied. If you receive warrantied yeast from us that does not ferment simply e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org to receive a replacement pack or refund. Please include the batch code, manufacturer date, your original gravity reading and a second gravity reading taken at least three days after pitching.
